Chelsea FC are the best soccer team ever. Everyone thinks that Manchester united are better but i think that Chelsea FC are killa. KM thinks that chelsea FC are the best and DA thinks that chelsea FC are the best ever ( i call DA the ‘’so called chelsea fan” ) . This is the current team. ( updated 1st of June) They also came 3rd last sesson. Manchester united came first.
My favourite players are Petr Cech, Ricardo Carvalho, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Michael Ballack, Jose Bosingwa, Deco, John Terry and Nicolas Anelka.
SO now i hope you will go for Chelsea FC because they rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the 15th - 19th of June SC, KM, DA, TN, EM, RP and KM made it into the SAPSASA tournament. They were chosen to play in a week long soccer festival which we all thought was heaps of fun. We all played for the Airport SAPSASA team and we played 8 oth districters in our division. The girls Airport SAPSASA team was very successful and came equal first with Torrens River while the boys team finished 8th in division 1. Our first match was against Sailsbury and we had a hard game. The score ended up being 3-2. I cant remember the other scores. I think that we all had fun and i hope all the best for next years Airport team.

On the 23rd of June the Power Community Youth Group came to talk to us about tobacco usage and what it does to you. Wade Thompson ( Port Adelaide Football Club ) , Moronia Gerrard ( Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball Club ) , Jonathon Giles ( Port Adelaide Football Club ) and Matt Thomas ( Port Adelaide Footbal Club ) came and talked to us. They told us that there were some harmful chemicals are in a cigarette. Smokers send $10 000 on cigarettes in 10 years and smoking can harm unborn babies. I also learnt the consequences of having to decied to be friends and smoke risking getting diseases and cancer or don’t smoke and live a happy and healthy lifestyle. The knowledge i gained from the lesson was that smoking can effect your health in the worst ways. I really enjoyed the session

Throughout the week i have had many experiences, like i never knew the Murray River went in three different states. Another fact that i didn’t know that is in a space of four years the water in the Murray River had decreased a lot. I now know what tributaries are , they are samller rivers that run in to the Murray Darling system. The government has given out to many water licences to all the farmers and that now they are realising that the farmers are using the water up. Victoria are using the water up and are not leting South australia have any water so we can use it for farming and household use.

In the last couple of days we have been doing art. This is a special kind of art and it is called abstract art. When we done ours we did it with circles. This work is based on the artist Wassily Kandinsky. He was known as one of the best earlier painters of abstract art. We done this art using circles. We interconnected circles to make art that was not representing something eg. bear. My art is called friendly is is representing a Caterpillar and a butterfly. I have use two yellow medium sized circles to make the butterfly and i use 3 different colours to make the caterpillar. For the caterpillar i basically put the circles in a straight line and i used pink, blue and purple as my 3 colours.

This quote stood out for me because it is an affective message because it is simple but means a lot. My opinion of this quote is that when they saw someone with the strength or with the looks they would think of them as a leader. But now they think a leader is something that has the skills and courage and getting along with others. An example is Arnold Schwarzenegger was famous for being in movies and having muscles but Kevin Rudd is famous for being the prime minister of Australia and he gets along with most of the Labor party. And most of the Australian public. 
My reflection
I had great difficulty with this task. I asked some of my friends on how to do it but i still did not get how the image connected with the quote. I found it interesting because you had to do an image with the quote which i found difficult.

Hey everyone
For a homework task we had to write a post about the question ‘Are leaders made or born’.
I think that leaders are a bit of both. Leaders are made by the life experiences and things you have done in thier life. Example is if you help with charities for a while and have been doing good things to help the poor or just do good things. Leaders are born partly because there born with thier personality. I think that leaders are more made then born.

This weeks quote means that if you just sit back and want people to come to you that will not happen. You have to go and talk to people.Don’t be too shy just say hello and ask questions and just see how it goes.
And example is when i came from year 4 and i saw kt08 group and i wanted to join but i was a bit shy. Then i said hello and asked questions. From then on we became friends and now in year 7 we are really good friends.
A piece of advice is that don’t be shy and if you want to be friends with someone go for it and be nice

Hey everybody,
On the Friday the 20th la 20 and 21 have a battle of POW (prisoner of war), It’s a game where you have two sides and you have a jail on one side and a jail on the other side. You have 4 cones with a ball in it on each side. The objective is to try to get the ball on the other side of the field without getting caught. The last time we played la 20 won, but it was still tough for the other side to get across. We will do it every Friday afternoon.

Hi everybody, Lately in class we have been learning about metaphors. We had a challenge to see if we could tell the difference between a metaphor and a simile.A metaphor is that something is something else. some examples are
A Giants steps were Thunder
The Pillow was a Cloud
They were examples of metaphors and i will show you two examples of similes.
As busy as a bee
As small as a Ant
There was a power point on the screen that showed different examples of similes and metaphors. When you got a question right it would go to the next slide with a different question. It would be a simile or a metaphor.
